Documentary Casting Call: Looking for Italian-American Families from Pittsburgh

An award-winning New York-based production company, whose previous films have premiered on HBO, Showtime, and Netflix, is currently producing a documentary about Italian-American families. They are looking for a Pittsburgh-based multi-generational family that gets together on a regular basis to share a meal.  Think the traditional “Sunday Dinner.”  Regular basis can mean weekly, monthly, several holidays and birthdays per year.  The film is looking to explore what is special about the Italian-American experience with varying generations, and the challenges that keep their traditions and families together in our current society.

If you are interested in being part of this special project, know someone that fits this description or have any questions, please email Maria at Maria@4throwfilms.comOne of the film’s producers will be in Pittsburgh scouting next week, November 10th and 11th.
