Ciao Aroma Stuffed Tomatoes




  1. Cut the core out of each tomato. You want to get as much of the inside out so you have room for the filling.
  2. Cook sausage, onion, zucchini, basil vinegar, minced garlic and Ciao Pittsburgh Aroma seasoning in a skillet.
  3. Once sausage mixture is halfway cooked, it’s time to cook the rice in a pot.
  4. Once rice is fully cooked at it to sausage mixture. You also want to add the Parmesan cheese and mix until cheese is incorporated.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook for 20 minutes or longer depending if you want a crusty top.
  6. Spoon in filling and place filled tomatoes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Before the tomatoes go in the oven sprinkle a littleCiao Pittsburgh Aroma seasoning on the top of each.
  8. Add the shredded cheddar and a tiny pinch of seasoned Italian brezd crumbs.
